THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Aug. 31, 1769 An inside page has an article headed: "America" from Charleston, South Carolina, which begins: "The agents in Great Britain...having thought it would be expedient to petition parliament for a repeal of the revenue acts..." with more. Plus another page has yet a lengthier report from "Charles-Town, South Carolina" concerning the political concerns in the South.
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice condition.
