THE PENNSYLVANIA PACKET & DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, Dec. 19, 1785 The ftpg. is filled with ads including 13 illustrated ship ads. Page 2 has an interesting item from London: "There is great entertainment to be found in observing how quick a progress the United States & their rebel children make in Machiavelian policy. The North Carolina remonstrance already accues the infant principality (self-named Franklin) as betraying their parent state to the Indians. The rebel child retaliates by charging the North Carolinians with murder..." and more.
The back page has a nice illustrated ad for a "Hat Manufacturer" which shows the classic tricorne (three corner) hat of the colonial period.
Four pages, two small worm holes near the upper right corner, nice condition.
