NEW YORK TRIBUNE, May 9, 1864  The front page is dominated by a very large & detailed map headed: "THE JAMES RIVER MOVEMENT. Scene of Operations by Gen. Butler's Force--Petersburg, Richmond, and the Railroads". Plus over half of the first column is taken up with Civil War heads, beginning: "Struggle For Richmond" "Gen. Grant Driving Lee Back" "Rebel Dash Foiled At Last" and much more (see). War reports inside as well.
Eight pages, nice condition.
