DREWRY'S DERBY MERCURY, England, July 10, 1783

* Revolutionary War prisoners
* re. Benedict Arnold's last name

The ftpg. has a report concerning the moment of British prisoners of war (see), and then an interesting report on a man who wants to change his last name of "Arnold" to "Trumbull", as: "...That the name of Arnold having become opprobrious and disgraceful to him & his family...will tend to bring to uneasy remembrance the traitorous, base, and infamous conduct of that fallen American."
Page 2 has an address: "To those Loyal Refugees who either have already left, or who hereafter may leave their respective countries in search o other habitations." (see).  Page 3 has some war-related content as well.
Four pages, bit of ftpg. foxing, very nice condition.
