Pirates in the Caribbean burn two ships...

THE POST BOY, London, Dec. 1, 1720 The front page has a report from Bristol which mentions: "Yesterday...arrived the Rose, Capt. Jacobs, from Antegoa...and the Mary, Capt. Thrup from Barbadoes. The Master of the Rose reports that the Mary and Martha, Capt. Wilcox, of and from this Port, was burnt by the Pyrates at St. Christophers."
Other European news of the day, with a great masthead featuring two intricate engravings, and the first letter of the text being very ornamented as well (see).
Single sheet, 8 1/2 by 14 1/4 inches, nice condition.
