THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Nov. 7, 1775

* American Revolutionary War
* George Washington's Army

There are several tidbits throughout which make reference to the troubling situation in America, but the most significant would be  a "...Protest entered in the House of Lords, Last Thursday..." which reflects upon the war in America, portions including: "...The commerce of Great Britain with America was great & increasing...These valuable resources...are actually lost to Great Britain...may possibly find itself unable to supply the means of carrying on a civil war at such a vast distance...Still less should we be able to preserve by mere force that vast continent & that growing multitude of resolute freemen who inhabit it...it is doubtful whether at this moment we are in possession of a single town in all North America..." and more (see for portions).
The bkpg. has an item which includes: "...The American rebel force...was at least 150,000 when the battle of Bunker's hill was fought; and the only difficulty which the provincial Commanders lay under was to restrain the ardor of their intrepid youth who hourly swarmed like bees to the military hive near Boston. At this time popularity itself has reduced the rebels under Washington to 18,000..." and more (see).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, small print crease on the front page, some text bleed-through inside the issue, otherwise in very condition.
