* Letter to Thomas Paine
* Letter to George Washington regarding his keeping of slaves

Among the many articles under "Review of New Publications" is: "A Letter to the Infamous Tom Paine, in Answer to His Letter to Gen. Washington, by Peter Porcupine." this is followed by: "Expostulatory Letter to George Washington, of Mount Vernon, in Virginia, on His Continuing to be a Proprietor of Slaves, by Edward Rushton".

Near the back is news headed: "America, West Indies, etc." with much from the Caribbean, but also a report from Philadelphia concerning the spread of the Yellow Fever (see photos).
Lacking all three plates called for.

Complete in 86 pages, full title/contents page with an engraving of St. John's Gate, 5 by 8 1/4 inches, close-trimmed on the front cover otherwise in nice condition.
