The ftpg. has the historic "Proclamation" by the President which begins: "Whereas, the enemy by a sudden incursion have succeeded in invading the capital of the nation, defended at the moment by troops less numerous than their own...they wantonly destroyed the public edifices..." with more (see), signed in type: James Madison. Above this is: "Our Whole Seaboard Menaced" and then: "From The West". More War of 1812 content on inside pages as well.
Four pages, very nice condition.
