PUCK, New York, June 21, 1893 Puck was America's first successful humor magazine of colorful cartoon caricatures and political satire, publishing from 1871 until 1918. It was also the first to successfully adopt full color lithography printing for a weekly publication. The color prints are much desired for their displayability. This issue has as its political cartoons:
front page: "The Man at the Wheel Knows His Business."
double-page centerfold: "Drive Out the Pension Frauds! The Honest Veterans are Again on Hand When Their Country Calls Them."
back page is a 6 panel cartoon: "On the World's Fair Limited--A Tale of Wedded Bliss & Single Misery."
Sixteen pages, very nice, clean condition.
