LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Jan. 5, 1856  Taking most of the front page is a print of: "Pierce And His Cabinet Discussing American Affairs". Inside has a nice illus: "All Souls Church, 20th Street, 4th Avenue, New York" and "Gymnastic Institute" and a portrait of General Walker with a related halfpg. print: "Arresting The Steamship Northern Light" which had over 350 on board destined to join the army of General William Walker in Nicaragua (see hyperlink for more on him). Also a print showing: "Trinity Church, Hoboken--Laying the Foundation Stone".
Sixteen pages, nice condition.
