The ftpg. is entirely taken up with ads as are pgs. 3 & 4, while pg. 2 has some content concerning the Civil War, from the Confederate perspective. Items include: "The Free Negroes of the State", an address to the "Honorable General Assembly of North Carolina" "Maryland & Virginia" "General Wool Deposed" "The C.S.A." and "Another Proclamation from Lincoln" signed by him in type: Abraham Lincoln, calling for more volunteers. More war-related items as well including several illustrated recruiting ads (see).
Complete in 4 pages and in great condition.
