A quite uncommon Confederate title, only the 3rd we have offered in many years. Among the reports: "Letter From President Davis" which takes over a full column; "Death of Gen. Albert G. Jenkins" "The Yankees At Rome Georgia" "From Gen'l. Lee's Army" "Ewell's Reconnaissance--The Veteran Unhorsed" "The Fate Of The Negro" "Siege Of Charleston--315th Day" "The Fight at Resaca--Four Yankee General Wounded" "From Gen. Lee" "From Richmond" "From Johnston's Army" and more.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper with just a one column masthead, rather common from the Confederacy late in the war as most of the paper mills were in the North and there was need to maximize use of newsprint. Some damp staining, otherwise good condition.
