THE DETROIT FREE PRESS, Oct. 4, 1919  This issue reports on game 3 of the infamous "Black Sox" World Series, this game won by the White Sox, 3-0. The first column has: "Kerr Restores Sox Confidence With A Shutout" with related subheads (see), the report carrying over to the sports page which has a banner headline: "Little Dick Kerr Leads White Sox To Brilliant, 3 to 0 Victory Over Reds" and several related subheads. The box score is included as well.
Complete in 20 pages, partially loose at the spine, a bit irregular at the spine, nice condition.
