November 18, 1718

THE DAILY POST-BOY, London, Nov. 18, 1718

* Rare title

The front page begins with a report noting: "...to get ready...a flotilla for Vera Cruz...whose lading was to be fruit...should not be done till the year 1719 by reason of the superabundance of goods yet remaining in New Spain...these vessels should bring back the returns of fruit & commodities still unsold in the West Indies...". Somewhat uncommon to find reports concerning the "new world" in period newspapers.
Single sheet, 8 1/2 by 15 inches, handsome engravings in the masthead, very nice condition.
