* Battle of Tippecanoe
The ftpg. has a letter datelined: "Camp Battle Ground, One mile from the Prophet's Village, Nov. 8". This has a report of the famous Battle of Tippecanoe, beginning: "We were attacked at half past 4 o'clock on the morning of the 7th inst. by the prophet's party, consisting, as is supposed, of 600 warriors..." with much detail (see). This is followed by another account which includes: "...The troops under gov. Harrison left the prophet's town for Vincennes on the 9th & arrived without molestation from the enemy..." with more.
Nice to have this content on the front page. Four pages, very nice, clean condition.
