GLEASON'S PICTORIAL, Boston, April 30, 1853  The front page shows: "Representation of the Royal Guards, of Cincinnati, Ohio" Inside prints include: "View of the City of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania" (with textual description), "View of Indian Falls, near Cold Spring, New York", "New badge of the Boston Police" "View of Font Hill, Forrest Castle, at Yonkers, New York" "Representation of the Sugar Plantation near Limonar, Cuba", "Village of Aquakanonk, New Jersey"  and more.
This was one of the few illustrated newspapers of that time. The famed Harper's Weekly didn't start until 1857. Sixteen pages, minor rubbing & fold wear, good condition.
