The entire ftpg. is a terrific letter: "To the People of Great Britain" concerning the closing moments of the Revolutionary War, beginning: "You have already seen the flighty & wretched policy of our Southern General...I shall freely examine his subsequent conduct to the disagreeable surrender of his brave army at York and Gloucester..." with a great account of the final two months near Yorktown, with mention of Washington & others (see for portions).
Inside has a report that: "Yesterday Gen. Arnold, with his Lady, arrived in town from America." plus a report concerning Cornwallis' return trip to England. Also a letter signed in type: J. Adams (see).
Pg. 4 has content on the fate of Col. Isaac Haynes (see the web for details), plus some good end-of-war items from the South (see) including interesting strategic reports concerning the naval events in the Chesapeake just before Cornwallis' surrender.
Eight pages, 9 by 12 inches, never bound nor trimmed, nice condition.
