CHICAGO DAILY TRIBUNE, May 8, 1945 At the top of the ftpg. is the bold banner headline: "IT'S HERE: V-E DAY" with various related subheads including: "Big 3 Proclaim Victory At 8 A.M.; Unconditional Surrender Signed". Also on the ftpg. is a nice, color (unusual) cartoon headed: "Good Work, General! " showing Uncle Sam congratulating General Eisenhower.
Presumed complete in 30 pgs. although 40 pgs. is noted (different editions), wear at the central fold causing small holes at the fold juncture, some margin wear.
