LOS ANGELES TIMES, Valley Edition, Jan. 25, 1993 The ftpg. has a report headed: "Thurgood Marshall, 84, Dies; Civil Rights Giant" plus two photos of him with a list of his "Milestones". The lengthy articles--with two more photos--continues on pages 14 & 15.
The top of page 20 has a nice article: "Thomas A. Dorsey, 93; Pianist Created Gospel Music" with a photo of the African American, captioned: "Pianist Thomas A. Dorsey, shown in 1978, created gospel music."
