September 15, 1807

THE BALANCE & COLUMBIAN REPOSITORY, Hudson, New York, Sept. 15, 1807  Most of pg. 3 is taken up with: "Acquittal of Burr" with considerable detail, a key portion noting: "...The jury then withdrew; and, after an absence of 20 minutes, returned into court and Col. Carrington their foreman offered their verdict in the following words endorsed on the bill of indictment: 'We of the jury find that Aaron Burr is not proved to be guilty under this indictment by any evidence submitted to us. We therefore find him not guilty.' ...".
Following this are over 2 pages with detailed reporting headed: "Trial of Burr".
Eight pages, 9 1/2 by 12 inches, nice condition.
