A nice newspaper reporting the death of General Ulysses S. Grant, with all columns on all 4 pgs. black-bordered and the ftpg. having a nice engraving of him with column heads: "HIS SUFFERING ENDED" "THE DEATH OF GEN. GRANT ! " "Peacefully & Painlessly He Passes Away, With His Family Around Him" "Beholding the Sunrise of a New Day in Another World" "Affecting Scenes in the Chamber of Death--How the End Came" with much detail, the text taking nearly two columns.
Four pages, rubbing & wear at the folds with some perforation, a few small archival mends mostly inside, wear at the margins.
