* Funeral - best title to be had ?
A terrific issue on the funeral for King George III with a ftpg. announcement: "The interment of His late Most Sacred Majesty, of Blessed Memory, took place in the Royal Chapel of St. George, withi9nt the Castle of Windsor, on Wednesday evening the 16th instant. An account of the solemnities observed upon that melancholy occasion will appear to-morrow morning in a Supplement to this Gazette."
And included is that "Supplement", a six page edition with each bordered in wide mourning rules and providing considerable detail on the funeral procession (see photos). This would be the very best newspaper for this report, the official mouthpiece of the Royal Court of England.
Complete in 30 pages total, 7 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches, great condition. Minor binding slits at the blank spine.
