Page 2 has the election returns showing that Thomas Jefferson won the Presidential election over Pinckney, which includes a chart by state and various text (see). A paragraph begins: "It is a blessing to have a Federal President; but it is an evil of great magnitude to have an antifederal Vice President..." with more. Another item on pg. 2 with an Albany dateline notes: "The electors of this state MET at Hudson yesterday and gave an unanimous vote for JEFFERSON and BURR--twelve each."
There is also a report on the first anniversary of the death of George Washington. Four pages, scattered foxing, nice condition.
