THE GALVESTON DAILY NEWS, Texas, Jan. 18, 1934

* Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow
* Texas prison escape and gunfight

One of the more notable events in the infamous career of Bonnie & Clyde was the daring prison break at the Eastham State Prison in Texas. The front page has a two column headline: "Barrow Trail Leads to Neches River Bottoms As Search Is Narrowed" Interesting coverage continues inside. Rarely reported in period newspapers prior to their deaths, but likely appearing here being a Texas title.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 14 pages, light toning, minor margin wear, generally nice.
