The ftpg. has a brief article headed: "Execution of Pirates" at Nassau: "...Joseph Lawis...and John Lee, were convicted of piracy on board the schr. Pan-be-civil, and other vessels, and ordered to be executed on Monday next." followed by a report of their execution. Another article: "The Pirates" on page 2 is concerning the same two men (see).
