Most of an inside page is taken up with an interesting letter "To the Printer" which concerns the situation in America, with talk of what independence might mean to the colonies. Portions include: "The more the subject of American affairs is considered, the more necessary & important will the representation of the Colonies in Parliament appear...each colony would, their independence supposed, have a separate interest which must continually produce continual wars between them..." and so much more (see for the beginning).
A back page report talks about tobacco having arrived in France from Virginia and Maryland. Another item tells of the much anticipated arrival of the Marquis de la Fayette in Boston. A few other Revolutionary War tidbits throughout.
Complete in eight pages, 8 1/4 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice, clean condition.
