A terrific issue with the front page dominated by a huge & very detailed map headed: "THE CAPTURE OF FORT FISHER - Scene of Admiral Porter's and General Terry's Brilliant Operations on Saturday and Sunday Last".
Plus the first column is mostly taken up with heads: "WILMINGTON" "FORT FISHER OURS" "It''s Capture By Assault" "The Rebel Official Account" & much more (see).
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, some wear at the central fold with a few discrete archival mends on pg. 2, some minor margin tears, generally nice & very displayable.
