THE SCOTS MAGAZINE, Edinburgh, Scotland, November, 1766  Although formatted much like the more common "Gentleman's Magazine" this is a much more scarce title.
Inside has: "A Letter from the Merchants of Canada in Answer to one Received from a Committee of Merchants in London". This relates to the situation in America, & mentions in part: "...If your allusion is to the spirited remonstrances made by some other parts of America for the repeal of an act which was a public grievance, you are mistaken in the application...As we were not less sensible than our neighbours of the ill consequences which would have attended the execution of that act..." with much, much more, taking two pages.
Near the back is: "Affairs in North America" includes some correspondence between Indians and the British concerning setting a boundary between Quebec and New York
Complete in 56 pages, 5 by 8 inches, disbound with title & "Contents" on the front page, great condition.
