One of the more decorative mastheads to be found, which includes a nice view of the skyline of London along with coat-of-arms insets in the upper corners. The first letter on the front page is extremely ornate as well (see). Filled with various news reports of the day including crime items. There is also a report noting: "The account of  the Plague in France...is very moving, the miseries of  the people for want of necessaries to support life, being as affecting as the pestilence itself..." with more detail (see).
Complete in 6 pages, a few interior ink stains, measures 8 1/4 by 13 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
