Edited by Joseph Dennie under the pseudonym "Oliver Oldschool" and Asbury Dickins, it espoused republican values and was the first important political & literary journal in the United States. This is the volume one, number one issue. The ftpg. has the first of the series of "Journal of a Tour Through Selesia" written by John Quincy Adams.
Eight pages, 9 1/2 by 12 1/4 inches, minor margin wear & bit close-trimmed at the margin of 2 leaves effects some letters, otherwise nice.
