This is the sports section and Rotogravure only. The front page has a banner headline on the Berlin Olympics, plus smaller heads including: "World Marks Set As U.S. Trackmen Rout British, 11-3" with more, including mention of Jesse Owens. Page 2 has another banner headline, curiously: "Visitors to Olympics Carrying Away Highly Favorable Impression of Reich" with many subheads including: "Germany Realized Hopes In Olympics" "Propaganda Aimed at Creating Pleasing Impression of Reich Successful" "Citizens Aided Willingly" "Courtesy & Hospitality Jet Visitors--Cleanliness of Berlin Keen Memory".
  Another column is headed: "Owens Dazzled By Many Offers" "One of $40,000 Made by Eddie Cantor for Ten Weeks or Negro Ace's Time" "Tired of Hero Worship" with more. The back page has photos of Joe Louis & Jack Sharkey, who will meet at Yankee Stadium in two days.
The Rotogravure section includes a full pg. of photos from the Berlin Olympics, two of which feature Jesse Owens & another shows Adolph Hitler.
Includes 20 pages total, very nice condition.
