October 23, 1760

THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Oct. 23, 1760  The top of the front page has an item headed: "America" with a report from St. Augustine, Florida, noting: "...they are so reduced for want of fresh meat there that the governor was obliged to kill some of the King's oxen at the celebration of the late coronation..." with more (see). The top of pg. 6 has: "America" with a letter from Quebec which mentions the capture of Montreal (see).
Eight pages, 8 by 11 inches, rubbing on the front page with a small hole which causes some loss of text that does not affect any reported articles, otherwise in good condition.
