HARPER'S NEW MONTHLY MAGAZINE, New York, March, 1863  This issue begins with a 14 page article titled: "Continental Money" which offers a terrific history on the continental currency in use during the Revolutionary War. Included are 36 illustrations of many of the notes in use at the time. A wonderful article in understanding paper money from that era.
This is followed by another illustrated article: "A Californian In Iceland".
Complete in 144 pages, disbound & without outer wrappers, 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, some lite scattered staining otherwise in very good condition.
