Page 6 has a full column headed: "America - From the South Carolina Gazette" which has various reports from the South, including an item from Charleston: "...fell in with a patrol of Lee's horse near that village. A bridge separate the two parties & some shot were exchanged over it. Our cavalry then charged the Rebels, who immediately gave way & were pursued up Gaillard's Road which leads towards Monk's Corner. In the flight three or four of the Rebels were killed...None of our party were either killed or wounded."
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
