Most of pg. 2 is taken up with some great content on the recently-surrendered Napoleon Buonaparte with some details on his inability to escape to America and his eventual surrender to the British Navy. An article: "Bonaparte's Port-Folio Found After the Battle of Waterloo" which reveals some correspondence from his brother concerning secret agents. Also some content concerning his presence as a prison aboard the Bellerephon in Plymouth harbor exciting local interest, with details of his demeanor & actions aboard the ship. Some editorial commentary as well.
Eight pages, 10 by 14 1/2 inches, various foxing, minor loss to the top margin of the front leaf, red tax stamp on the ftpg., good condition.
