THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, Aug. 21, 1746 

* Rare title

Page 2 has news with a Philadelphia dateline mentioning: "...a fifty (some say 70) gun French man of war, laden with furs from Canada to Old France, being taken by two English men of war in St. Lawrence's Bay..." and a bit more (see).
A report headed: "Edinburgh" begins: "We hear by letters from the north that the Rebels continue to submit themselves to the Earl of Loudoun...The master of Lovat has lately surrendered himself. 'Tis said the young Pretender [Bonnie Prince Charlie] has got back again to the Isles."
Four pages, 8 by 10 inches, full red tax stamp on the ftpg., very nice condition.
