* King George's War

Page 2 begins with: "On Tuesday...to empower the Right Hon. Lord Cornwallis, Constable of the Tower of London, to deliver up the bodies of the Earl of Kilmarnock and Lord Balmerino to the Sheriffs of London in order for their execution on Monday morning next...". They were two of the 3 prime (and highly ranked) leaders of the Jacobite Rebellion.
Following this is a speech from the King to Parliament in which he offers his sincere thanks for their support of: "...my government; for suppressing the late Rebellion; and for bringing the guilty to justice..." referring to the Jacobite Rebellion.
Additionally, pgs. 2 & 3 have lengthy reports concerning King George's War in North America (see Wikipedia for more on this).
Four pages, 8 by 10 inches, partial red tax stamp on the ftpg., very nice condition.
