THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, June 25, 1767 

* Early America

Page 6 has at the top: "America" with reports from Charleston, Boston, Hartford & Bridgetown, Barbados, the former including: "...his Excellency the Governor gave his assent to...an act for granting...money to be paid for a general survey of this province...". Also from Charleston: "The introduction of the silk manufacture in this province bears a promising aspect..." with much more. The item from Boston notes John Hancock & Samuel Adams being chosen for the General Assembly. Also a letter from Boston as well (see).
Also a letter from the Duke of Richmond to the Mass. House of Representatives with conciliatory comments and hopes: "...that those measures would not only restore tranquility to the Colonies, but also produce great benefits to them & returns of gratitude to the Mother Country..." (see).
Eight pages, 8 1/4 by 11 inches, very nice condition.
