THE NEW YORK TIMES, February 15, 1945

* Bombing of Dresden Germany
* RAF & United States Air Force bombers
* World War II - WWII

The front page features a banner headline that reads: "8,000 PLANES BATTER NAZIS CLOSE TO 2 FRONTS; DRESDEN HIT THRICE AS RUSSIANS MOVE ON IT" with subheads and related map (see images).

Note: The bombings were made to try to end the war as quickly as possible so the Allies could focus on Japan. The decision to make these bombings happen was very controversial as many German civilians were at risk of being killed.

Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 36 pages, light toning, a little margin wear, more so along botton right margins, generally good.
