Page 2 contains some good accounts of the historic Battle of Waterloo, where the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon Bonaparte. One report begins: "...have taken into consider consideration the signal & splendid victory gained by the Army under the command of the Duke of Wellington on the 18th of June instant, over the French army under the command of Bonaparte in person..." and more. Another item is headed: "Thanks to the duke of Wellington & the Army" Other accounts as well including one from: "French Papers".
Some foxing & light dirtiness, generally good condition.
