The ftpg. has 1 1/2 columns taken up with the: "President's Message" which carries over to take more than half of pg. 2, being the President's annual state-of-the-union address, signed in type James Madison. One item mentions: "...The Indian tribes without our limits appear also disposed to remain at peace..." with more on this. A nice reflection on the events of 1816.
