The ftpg. has a brief item from the: "War Office, October 9, 1781" which reports: "Major Oliver De Lancey, of 17th Regiment of Light Dragoons, is appointed to be Adjutant-General of the Forces in North America, vice John Andre." Wikipedia reports that he replaced John Andre, hanged as a spy for conspiring with Benedict Arnold to surrender the fort at West Point.
Four pages, small binding holes at the spine margin, 7 1/4 by 12 inches, nice condition.
