THE TIMES-PICAYUNE, New Orleans, April 22, 1945

* Jewish Holocaust being uncovered
* Nazi concentration camps realized

With the front page headlines announcing the Allied forces advancing further into Germany during the closing weeks of the war, the big story is actually found on page 13 with a three column head: "Ghastly Burial for Prison Dead" "Nameless Victims of Nazis Go Into Common Grave". This lengthy article is one of the first to appear in American newspapers exposing the atrocities of the Nazi plan for extermination of the Jews (see).
The complete 48 page issue, a little spine wear, generally in good condition.
