THE SPECTATOR, New York, Dec. 13, 1797 The ftpg. has over a full column of a letter "To Dr. William Currie" signed in type: N. Webster, Jun. Page 3 has an article: "The Generous Slave!" who offered a kindness to her former owner, it ending with: "...Yet such are the qualities of the race that we enslave!"
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, an archival mend on pg. 2, generally nice condition.
