* Old west style train robbery
The top of a front page column is headed: "DARING TRAIN ROBBERY" "The Robbers Board the Train Twice and Fight the Crew" "Amount Stolen Not Known" "They Gag a Worthy Express Messenger & Then Try & Shoot Him--After Leaving the Train They Board it Again and Fight the Crew". The text, which takes half a column, reads like a classic Wild West train robbery including: "...two masked men with cocked revolvers...compelled Adams Express messenger A.L. Scudder to throw up his hands..." with more (see).
Eight pages, two folds, minor wear at folds, generally good condition.
