BOSTON GAZETTE, Aug. 16, 1804 Page 2 begins with: "Letters Between Madame Bonaparte and Madam Moreau" with letters signed by each relating to the fate of General Moreau, signed in type: Josephine Bonaparte, and Julia Moreau (rare to find such in period newspapers). General Moreau helped Napoleon rise to power but later became a rival & was ultimately banished to America.
Four pages, minor loss to the bottom of the blank spine, ink smudge in the masthead, nice condition.
