JACKSON'S OXFORD JOURNAL, England, Aug. 13, 1774  Page 2 has some news from America including a critical bit on Governor Hutchinson, and also a  report: "The first of June, when the Boston Port Bill took place, was observed by the inhabitants of Hartford in Connecticut as a day of mourning; the bells began to toll early..." with a bit more (see). Another pg. 2 items from Virginia begins: "We have a present an Indian war on our frontiers...". Also a report concerning Capt. Cook and his trip to "Otaheitee" (Tahiti).
