THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Aug. 9, 1760  Most of page 3 is taken up with a letter "By an Assembly of Brethren called Quakers". Another page has half a column of news under: "America" with New York, Philadelphia, and Boston datelines (see). The first report includes: "By the Albany post...have advice that the brave Major Rogers has had another brush with the French. He, with 200 rangers, being out on a scout, landed about 3 miles from Nutten Island...but were soon attacked by 300 of the enemy when a smart engagement immediately commenced & ended greatly to the disadvantage of the French..." with more.
Eight pages, 8 by 10 3/4 inches, great condition.
