Page 2 has a report headed: "Petition of the American Loyalists" which includes: "...it stated the loss of fortunes, situations, and preferments incurred by the persons to whom the petitioners were agents in consequence of their having, in obedience to the solemn call of his Majesty to that purpose, loyally exerted their best endeavours in support of the common cause..." and a bit more (see).
