"Devoted To the Interests of the Militia, Military Science & National Defense" as noted in the masthead, where also is found their motto: "In Times Of Peace, Prepare For War".
Over half of the back page has the: "Biography - General Wayne" providing a mid-19th century glimpse of how he was viewed at the time.
Also in this issue: "Naval Battles And Surviving Naval Heroes" "Militia of the United States" "Tactics" "Revolutionary War Battles" (a list), "The Seminole's Reply" and more.
Lasted but 52 issues, 9 1/2 by 12 1/2 inches, a rare & uncommon title. Typical foxing, 8 pages, nice condition.
